Background: Alhaji Bashir Mamman was born on August 16, 1971, in Gusau, Zamfara State. He holds a B.Agric from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, a Professional Diploma in Cooperative Studies from the Federal Cooperative College, Kaduna, a B.Sc in Cooperative Management from the National Open University of Nigeria, and an M.Sc in Cooperative Economics and Management from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.

Career:Alhaji Mamman began his career as an Agronomist at Mai Zube Farms, Minna. In 2007, he joined the Federal Cooperative College, Kaduna, where he rose from Instructor to leadership roles. He served as Student Affairs Officer for eleven years and currently holds dual positions as the pioneer Head of the Academic Planning Unit and Head of the Agribusiness Management Department. His other roles include Coordinator of Agribusiness, Secretary of the College Committee on Covid-19, SIWES/Field Work Coordinator, Hostel Officer, and member of several key committees such as the Parastatals Tenders Board and the College Accreditation Committee.

Publications:Alhaji Mamman has authored and co-authored scholarly publications in cooperative management, agribusiness, and macroeconomic policy. His works explore topics including the role of cooperatives in socio-economic empowerment and the impact of macroeconomic variables on economic growth.

Expertise:His expertise spans cooperative governance, agribusiness, cooperative education, and economic analysis. His practical experience from Registrar II to Chief Registrar underscores his in-depth understanding of cooperative systems.

Affiliation and Recognition:He is a Fellow of the Institute of Cooperative Professionals of Nigeria (ICOPRON) and a Certified Entrepreneur with the Institute of Business and Economic Analysis, Nigeria. His contributions have earned him several awards, including a Certificate of Excellence from the Ultimate Promotion and Awards Cooperative Society Limited and an Ethical Conduct Award from the Centre for Ethic and Self Value Orientation.
