The Establishment of a National Cooperative Bank: A dedicated financial institution designed to unlock seamless access to capital and credit for cooperative societies nationwide.
The Launch of a National Digital Registry: A centralized digital database of all cooperative societies in Nigeria to streamline operations, enhance transparency, and eliminate fraudulent entities.
Following the stakeholder engagement, the Minister paid an impactful courtesy visit to the historic Old Pantaker Cooperative Union. During the visit, he emphasized the critical role of grassroots economic clusters and urged the union’s leadership and members to actively invest in and position themselves for the upcoming federal reforms.
